The power of journaling to self-acceptance

Maelo is here to guide you through self-acceptance & journaling.

We sat down with the Founder of ALUVE, Alisha Kelly to talk about all things well being, journaling and the keys to self-acceptance. Alisha provided us with an insight into the power of journaling as well as some prompts to support you with loving yourself and coming into acceptance.

Hello beautiful souls,

You were born completely worthy and you still are. It is just unfortunately through life experiences, traumas, other people's judgements or lack of love, that many individuals then forget this and begin to believe that they aren’t loveable and worthy just as they are.

This is just programming that has created this lack of self-worth and acceptance and I am going to share with you the powerful tool of journaling to help you remember just how incredible you really are.

Journaling is such a profound tool for accessing your subconscious mind, releasing unwanted patterns, and programming in what you are seeking instead. It allows you to dive deep into self-discovery alongside understanding your true self. Journaling can be utilised for a range of benefits including gaining clarity and reflecting, releasing emotions and healing, as well as manifesting.

When we are able to recognise our self-worth and accept ourselves as we are, we can then feel deserving of and create the life that we truly desire.

Grab your journal and a pen. These are some of Alisha’s favourite journal prompts related to self-worth:

  1. What are three qualities that I appreciate about myself?

  2. How can I show myself more love and appreciation today?

  3. What does self-worth mean to me and how can I cultivate it daily into my life?

  4. What are some beliefs or doubts that I am holding about myself that no longer serve me? What do I need to feel safe to let these go?

  5. Write a letter to your younger self (inner child) and express your love, appreciation and encouragement to them.

Diving into a journey of self-discovery is a profound and transformative experience. I hope you enjoy these prompts and if you need personalised support, I am here for you. You can connect with me over at @aluve. I offer 1:1 sessions, products and resources that will be able to nurture you through this journey. Remember, your journey back to self-love and acceptance is unique, and you are never alone.

With love,

Alisha
